ABOUT Kim Sobey
Kim Sobey is a Senior Lawyer with more than 25 years experience covering a broad range of legal areas including wills, estates, trusts and civil litigation.
Kim values the opportunity to support clients to prepare and equip them for smooth transitions through some of life’s most challenging times. Kim enjoys working with clients from varied backgrounds by providing them with useful legal advice and assistance to enable them to achieve their estate planning goals or to meet their probate and estate representation needs. Kim has a wide network of professional relationships and she is also very happy to collaborate with any existing advisors that clients may already have.
Kim has experience working as a lawyer in both the public and private sectors. She spent several years as a Senior Legal Officer with the Public Trustee of Western Australia, and most recently, she worked as a Senior Lawyer for a national private trustee company. She has advised, assisted and represented a large variety of clients including individuals from diverse life stages and circumstances, commercial entities and the government. As a Senior Legal Officer with the Public Trustee of Western Australia, Kim had conduct of matters involving complex Supreme Court of Western Australia litigation regarding estates and trusts as well as the management of matters the subject of State Administrative Tribunal proceedings pursuant to the Guardianship and Administration Act 1990.
Kim is delighted to have joined Bespoke to continue her focus on supporting clients in the areas of wills and estates.
Kim is a member of the Law Society of WA and a member of the worldwide Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
